because art is therapy and therapy is art.
I tried for a long time to separate my artist self from my therapist self because of ideas about “professionalism” and being a “blank slate.” I don’t know about you, but anytime I am asked to cut away a part of myself in the service of others, everyone suffers. Over the years I have been able to write myself into existence, and I hope the essays, poems, and podcasts I have been able to create help you as much as they have helped me. Enjoy <3
